What about everybody on slightly less cutting edge devices? Or, even iPhone owners with slow connections that want access to specific data quickly? The answer is the SMS app, which is now accessible to the average web developer.

I feel if youre not a techie, its difficult to understand the ideology behind these applications. Although the process sounds simple, yet common people might not desire to do so.

I guess with all the hype over the iPhone and wide variety of other smart devices, I hadn’t actually given any thought to apps being developed for less than current phones, or smartphones in areas of poor reception.
