A man has broken the record for the highest waterfall dive earning himself a place in the Guinness Book of Records.

Di Huanran achieved his record dive of 12.19m by launching himself into the spray from Diaoshuilou waterfall in Mundanjiang City, China.

Guinness say the record was set Sunday 5 October in honour of the organisation’s World Records Day. via

  • The problem is not the height, it's coming out of the water under that waterfall. That man is courageous... or crazy.

  • That is pretty insane. At that height, he should be quite deep in the water. I can't imagine what would happen if he had fallen flat instead of a proper dive. Like what mrmuggles said, he is either courageous or crazy.
