I want to like Twitter and really get into, especially because all the “cool kids” are doing it. I like how it can bring you really close to internet celebrities. But I just can’t help but see it as the total waste of time that it is. I mean it is fine if it is just recreation, but it is more than that and it is getting in the way of real productivity for very little pay off.

Twitter is a great resource for catching up with good blogposts you might’ve missed. It is a like a newsfeed, and dependant on your group of friends it can be news tailored to your onw particular wants. It’s also a less intrusive device than IM.
